Born as the youngest child of six to Columbian parents, Daniel started showcasing acting talents from an early age, and as he got older, his desire to become an actor rose, and it was only a matter of time before he made his acting debut, although that didn’t happen until the early 2000s, as he wanted to be sure that his acting skills were at high level, and as a result moved to the USA to study acting.

Career Beginnings

Following a number of acting lessons, Daniel finally landed his first role, playing Hans Hakerman in the TV series “Francisco el Matematico” from 2003 to 2004, after which Daniel was cast in the TV series “Los Reyes” as Santiago ‘Santi’ Iriarte. However, in the next several years, Daniel didn’t have much success, until in 2010 he was chosen for the part of Nicolas Ayala in the TV series “Dona Bella”, ultimately featuring in 97 episodes of the highly-acclaimed series, which certainly helped him put his career in motion.

“Televisa” Debut

Thanks to his great performance in “Dona Bella”, Daniel was chosen for the part of Fernando Moreno Guijarro in the TV series “Teresa”, starring Sebastian Rulli, Aaron Diaz and Angelique Boyer. Daniel continued to work for Televisa, and has become one of the most prominent actors signed with the production house. In 2013 he got the role of Octavio in the TV series “Corazon Indomable”, which is a remake of the popular TV series “Marimar”, starring next to Ana Brenda Contreras and Elizabeth Valdez.
