CariDee English was born on the 23^rd September 1984, in Fargo, North Dakota USA, of Danish, German and Norwegian ancestry. She is a fashion model and television personality, probably best recognized for being the first natural blonde winner of the seventh season of “America’s Next Top Model”, which was aired on The CW network in 2006. She is also known for working as the television host of the Oxygen’s reality series “Pretty Wicked”.

Modeling Career Beginnings

In 2001, CariDee’s professional modeling career started, as she was signed by the Academie Agencie in Fargo, and thanks to her talent, she participated at the 2002 Millie Lewis Actors Models and Talent Competition, after which she started working for Mega Models in Miami, Florida in the late spring of 2003.

 “America’s Next Top Model”

In 2006, CariDee entered the seventh season – known as Cycle 7 – of the competitive show “America’s Next Top Model” with the judges Tyra Banks, Twiggy, J. Alexander and Nigel Barker, aired on The CW network. From the beginning, she was noted for her similarity to Karolína Kurková and Rebecca Romijn, and she finished as the winner of the season, which increased enormously not only her popularity, but also her net worth. During the show, CariDee won five Covergirl of the week awards, plus three first call-outs as well as one challenge, which led her to guest-star in an episode of The CW drama series “One Tree Hill” (2006).

As we already mentioned, CariDee made her debut appearance as an actress in 2006, in an episode of the fourth season of The CW drama series “One Tree Hill”, playing Tia, after which she guest-starred as Carissa, Bart’s date, in an episode of The CW teen drama series “Gossip Girl” (2007). During the same year, she was hired as the co-host of MTV’s “Scarred”, and guest-starred several times in “The Tyra Banks Show”. In 2010, she became the main host of Oxygen’s reality series “Pretty Wicked”, increasing her net worth by a large margin.
