Joseline Hernández was born on the 3^rd November 1986, in Ponce, Puerto Rico. She suffered quite a rough childhood as her father died of a heroin overdose when she was very young, and she was raised by a single mother, Carmen, in Puerto Rico’s public housing project. At the age of six, alongside her mother, stepfather and her five siblings (older sister Yanira and four brothers named – Jorge, Hisael, Kermit and Luis Jr.), she migrated to the USA, and settled in the state of Florida. As her youngest brother is autistic, Joseline began working as a stripper at the age of just 16 to financially help her numerous family. Under the alias Shenellica Bettencourt, she was even arrested for lascivious and lecherous behavior on several occasions in 2003, then in 2007.
