Born Lauren Christine German on the 29th of November 1978, German is an American actress who became known for her appearance in the film “A Walk to Remember.” She also became famous for her roles in the series “Hawaii Five-0”, “Chicago Fire”, and “Lucifer.”

German was born in Huntington Beach, California and is of Dutch and English descent. She studied at Los Alamitos High School as well as Orange County High School of the Arts. She later on attended University of Southern California and majored in anthropology.

In 2012, German gained another main role in the series “Chicago Fire”, playing the role of Leslie Shay, one of the paramedics in the show, and in which she stayed until 2014, when her character was killed in the final season. She also appeared in two episodes of “Chicago P.D.”, playing the same role. Today, German is still active as an actress recently joining the cast of the series “Lucifer” in 2016. German’s stint in the world of television helped elevate her career and also increased her wealth.
