Interested in ballet from an early age, Monica took her first steps towards performing at the age of 12, when she appeared in the middle school’s interpretation of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” stage play, which was followed by a supporting role in the production of the “The Nutcracker”. Upon graduation, she began her professional career as a ballet dancer, and slowly worked her way onto television, her on-camera debut occurring in 2012 when she had a support role in the TV movie “Hemingway & Gellhorn”. This engagement was followed by three more appearances the same in short movies – “Touchdown”, “Tomas and Jackie” and “Table for One”, all in 2012.
