Who is Jericka Duncan?

Jericka Duncan was born on 12 August 1983, in New York City, USA, and is a journalist and news correspondent, best known for her work with CBS which has gained her several awards. She has reported on numerous high-profile events over the course of her career.

The following year, she attended the A&T conference in North Carolina, focused on childhood obesity. In 2007, she began full-time her journalism career with the CBS local station in Buffalo, New York called WIVP, staying for three years, and would win a local Emmy Award in the Best Morning Show category, thanks to her coverage of winter storms during 2008.

Later Career

The following year, her reputation as a reporter increased, as she was one of the first at the scene of the Buffalo ‘plane crash which killed 50 people, and the coverage of which would win her two national Edward R. Murrow Awards, given to people with outstanding achievements in electronic journalism. She would then move to another CBS television station – KYW – for which she reported on disabled adults who became victims of a social security scam, and which earned her another Emmy nomination.

In 2011 Duncan covered Hurricane Irene, and then Superstorm Sandy the following year,  which would lead her to win a Journalist of the Year Award from The Philadelphia Association of Black Journalists. In 2013, she officially joined CBS News, and subsequently covered numerous events, including the shooting deaths of four Marines in Chattanooga, the 70th anniversary of D-Day, as well as the snow storms in Boston. In 2015, she spent a month in Canada, joining the US Women’s National Soccer Team during their run to a World Cup title.

Personal Life and Social Media

Despite her popularity in the news circles and on television, there is very little information about any of Jericka’s relationships, or if she is married. Many sources believe that she is likely single due to the lack of any information to the contrary, although there is a suspicion that she may be dating fellow journalist Dray Clark.
