Higuchi’s next project would be the film “Sorority Boys”, in which she had a supporting role. The film follows a group of college boys who dress up as girls to prove that they are innocent, and starred Barry Watson, Harland Williams and Michael Rosenbaum. Following this film, Kerri decided to direct her own film, entitled “Mr. Isaac” and in which she also starred. She also had a guest role in “Parks and Recreation”, which is a sitcom starring Amy Poehler. The series features an ensemble supporting cast including Aziz Ansari, Aubrey Plaza, Chris Pratt and Jim O’Heir.

She also made an appearance in the 2009 series entitled “Flashforward”, which is an adaptation of the 1999 novel of the same name written by Robert J. Sawyer. The premise of the show is that people globally simultaneously lose consciousness, and peer into visions of their lives six months into the future during an unexplained event. One of her last projects would come the following year in the film entitled “More Things Change”.  Since then, she’s mainly stayed in the background as her husband’s career progressed, and many sources believe that she is focused more on raising her children as opposed to acting.

For her personal life, it is known that Kerri has been married to John Cho since 2006; they now have two children together, and the family resides in Los Angeles, California, where they were seen publicly supporting the 2012 re-election campaign of US President Barack Obama.
