Joy Allison Taylor was born on 17th January 1987, in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania USA, of African and American descent, and is a radio personality and sports reporter, probably best recognized for being an on-air host for Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports Radio. She is also known for being a moderator of FS1’s show “Skip And Shannon: Undisputed”.
Early Life and Education
Joy Taylor spent her childhood in Pittsburgh, the youngest of three children raised by her father, Anthony Taylor, and her mother, Georgia Taylor; her brother is Jason Taylor, who is know for being one of the most valuable defensive players of National Football League for 15 seasons.Upon matriculation, she became interested in journalism and sports, so she enrolled in Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast communications in 2009.
While still in the college, she became interested in radio hosting, and tried to get a job at a radio station as that was her dream at the time. She was noticed because of her great radio host skills, so she became the host of a radio show entitled “The Noise”.
