Early Life, Family, and Education

Growing up, Landon would often play golf with her father, and as she got older her beauty came to prominence, which eventually resulted in her becoming a model. However, her plans changed as she became more focused on her education – she matriculated from High Point Central High School, North Carolina in 2011 and then enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism in 2014.

During her university years, Landon spent a year at Oxford University, and won the first prize in the national Hearst Journalism Awards, which brought her closer to a career in journalism.
