Nicole Curtis was born on the 20th August 1976, in Lake Orion, Michigan USA, and is an interior designer, home restoration expert and TV personality, probably best known to the world for being the host of the popular reality show “Rehab Addict”, aired on HGTV. Nicole showcases her skills as an interior designer and home decorator in the show, which has been on the air since 2010 and has recently completed its eighth season.

Early Life, Family, and Education

Nicole is the daughter of Rod Curtis, a garbage business owner, and his wife, Joanie Curtis; she grew up in Lake Orion with her brother, Ryan Curtis, who is now an actor. Growing up, Nicole was taught to love history and she soon developed a passion towards classic architecture. Nicole went to Lake Orion High School from which she matriculated in 1994, then enrolled in a college in Michigan to study law, but later transferred to a Florida University where she studied education.However, her path to graduation was stopped by becoming pregnant and giving birth to a child in 1999. This new situation forced her to look for a job, but without a major degree qualification, Nicole started her own business.

With small steps forward, Nicole’s dreams slowly started to come true, and soon she became a licensed real estate agent, and then found her first job, renovating old homes in Minneapolis, during which time she also ran an antique business, both of which helped to increase her net worth.

Sought by other renovators for help, Nicole has featured in several other similar shows, such as “Daryl’s Restoration Over-Hall” in 2014, “Beach Flip” in 2015, and “Home & Family” in 2016. Nicole Curtis Controversies

Back in 2013, Nicole bought a house for just $2 from the city of Minneapolis, but it was planned that her works be done within a year. Unfortunately, Nicole and her company failed to renovate this old house in the given time, which resulted in a lawsuit from the City of Minneapolis. The lawsuit was later settled in 2017, but no further details have been made available.

In 1996 she gave birth to her first child, a son named Ethan, whose father is her now ex-husband Steve Lane; the couple divorced in 2009, since when Nicole started a romantic relationship with Shane Maguire, with whom she soon started living. Nicole became pregnant with their first child, but Shane wasn’t much happy about it, which resulted in their break up. Nicole gave birth to her second son in May 2015. Since then, Nicole legal problem with her ex-boyfriend continue, who claims custody over Harper. The two have been in court for over a year.
