The Wealth of Sasha Czack

How rich is Sasha Czack? As of mid-2018, sources inform us of a net worth that is at $4 million, earned through success in her numerous endeavors. Her net worth was also likely elevated through her association with and divorce from Stallone, who has a net worth estimated at $400 million. As he continues his career, it is expected that his wealth will also continue to increase.

Early Life and Acting Career

While very little is known about Sasha’s childhood and family, it is known that growing up, she had a propensity towards acting. After matriculating from high school, she then attended the University of Notre Dame du Lac, where she completed a degree in Media Studies. She would go on to pursue acting roles on both film and television; one of her first roles would come in the soap opera “Love of Life” on CBS TV, created by Roy Winsor, who was also responsible for “Search for Tomorrow” and “The Secret Storm”.

Later on, Sasha would meet actor Sylvester Stallone in the early ‘70s, and the two would start their relationship. They would go on to star in several films, including “No Place to Hide”, and they were also a part of 1974’s “The Lords of Flatbush”, a low budget film focused on street teenagers in the Flatbush neighborhood located in Brooklyn, New York City. Sasha would also be cast in the film “Play It As It Lays” but Stallone insisted that she stayed to help him write screenplays.

Sylvester Stallone and Marriage

Sylvester Stallone is known for his work in numerous films including playing Rocky Balboa in the “Rocky” film series which spans seven films dating back 1976 to 2015. He also played the role of John Rambo in the “Rambo” series of films. Another project he’s done is “The Expendables” film series and he is known for co-writing as well as directing most of his films. He was nominated for two Academy Awards for “Rocky” including Best Actor, and Best Original Screenplay, making him the third man in history to receive these two nominations for the same film. The other two were Orson Welles and Charlie Chaplin.

When Czack and Stallone married in 1974 they received a lot of media attention. The couple soon relocated to California, and would have their first son. During this time, Stallone was just starting in his career, and his popularity would skyrocket after the creation of Rocky. During this time, Czack was also gaining a lot of notice as a photographer, and was the lead still photographer of the original film “Rocky”, which went on to win three Oscars.

Retirement and Divorce

The couple’s second son was born in 1979, and would later be diagnosed with autism. Due to the time and attention needed to care for the condition, Sasha announced her retirement from photography. She would spend most of her time taking care of her child, and became increasingly involved with organizations focusing on the condition. However, in the coming years, Stallone and Sasha’s relationship also started to take a turn for the worse, and they divorced in 1985 after being together for 11 years.

The divorce proceedings resulted in Sasha getting a payment of $12 million from her ex-husband, and media outlets were once again filled with news putting the couple back in the spotlight. According to reports, the divorce also affected the relationship of Sasha with her first son Sage, though they would later work together and resolve their differences.

Aftermath

After the divorce, Czack would return to work in the entertainment industry, and started photography once more. In 1996, she directed and wrote the film “Long Lost Love”, and there she would meet Rick Ash. The two married a year later, but the marriage was short lived. Rick was known to have worked with Stallone in the film “Shade”. Czack’s son Sage would make his directorial debut in the short film “Vic”, which also featured his mother, and she also worked as a still photographer on the film. However, her son would not be able to continue his work in the entertainment industry as he would contract a heart disease which would take his life in 2012.

Her photography work continues to get recognized, and it was even reported that Andy Warhol was a fan of her work. He also often wrote about Czack in his published diaries. Sasha has apparently remained officially single since her second divorce, as there has been no news of any further relationships.
