She started a relationship with Tony Romo in 2009 and after 16 months together, he proposed to her while she celebrated her 24^th birthday with her family at the Dallas restaurant Five Sixty. As a child, Chace was diagnosed with attention deficit disorder (ADD), and to correct it he would later try his hand at modelling work. He also initially pursued a career in broadcast journalism, but dropped out of college after a few semesters to focus on his acting work.
