RP @thecut Thank you so much ???? @stellabugbee Happy July! "This month, we chose a happy photograph of our cover woman, actress Marisa Tomei (@marisatomei). It’s the first Cut cover with a proper smile. Maybe this was wish fulfillment on my part, searching for something to cheer me up, but it was also the picture that truly captures what it’s like to be around Marisa. A lifelong New Yorker with a healthy sense of perspective, she’s often laughing — not because things are always great, but because they aren’t. There’s only two months of summer left. Enjoy the fireworks, try not to take your freedom for granted, and remember: dissent is patriotic and families belong together." In this month's editor's letter, @stellabugbee talks about biking through the city heat, inky city nights, and loss.
