Early Life and Education

Dana spent her childhood in Youngstown, raised by her parents Phyllis and Jerry DeLorenzo. Her father was the owner of a clothing store, so she started working from an early age as an actress in radio commercials for the store. At the age of 11, she began performing in a weekly cabaret dinner show, after which she was also a part of the interactive and environmental comedy entitled “Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding” in Chicago, Illinois. Regarding her education, Dana was a student at DePaul University in Chicago, from which she graduated with a degree in Media Communications in 2005.

Radio Personality

Prior to becoming a professional actress, Dana pursued her career in the entertainment industry as a radio personality and producer, working for several years on the nationally syndicated morning radio show entitled “Mancow’s Morning Madhouse” broadcast on the WLUP-FM radio station, in which she could be heard under the name Marissa Sanchez.

Beginning of Acting Career

While in college, Dana decided to focus on acting, and made her debut appearance portraying Ashley, in the short film “Rehearsal Time” (2004). She then featured as Carmen Valdez in the short film “Night Of The Fireflies”, followed by her starring in the role of Arianna in the short film “Rain: A Love Story?”, and as Alice in another short film “Music Box”, both in 2008. By the end of the decade, she was also cast as Valerie in the TV film entitled “Peep Show” (2008), and appeared as Alberta in the short film “October Surprise” (2009).

The 2010s

With the beginning of the next decade, Dana moved her acting career to the next level, as she made her debut on the big screen in the role of Becca the P.A. in the 2011 film entitled “A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas”, starring alongside Kal Penn, John Cho and Neil Patrick Harris. Concurrently she also guest-starred in such TV series as “In The Flow With Affion Crockett”, “2 Broke Girls”, “Eagleheart” and “Sullivan & Son”. In 2012, she was chosen to portray Beth/Sandra the Rhino in the CBS late-night talk show “The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson”, which was followed by her portrayal of Stoner Molly in the film “The Moleman Of Belmont Avenue” in 2013, next to Justin DiGiacomo, Mike Bradecich and John LaFlamboy. During the next two years, Dana guest-starred in such TV series as “Growing Up Fisher”, “Californication” and “Barely Famous”.

Recent Years and “Ash Vs Evil Dead”

Dana landed the role of Emily/Andrea in the TV series “Impress Me” in 2015, and was then selected to play Kelly Maxwell in the Starz horror-comedy series “Ash Vs Evil Dead” (2015-2018), starring along with Bruce Campbell, which earned her two Fangoria Chainsaw Award nominations for Best Supporting Actress on Television in 2016 and 2017. Most recently, Dana featured as Claire in the  film “The Mad Ones”, and as Samantha in the short film “Three Women”, both in 2017. Moreover, it is announced that she will be in the cast of the film “Friendsgiving”, so her net worth will certainly increase.
