Early Life and Career BeginningsTomi grew up in a military family; she attended Central High School, and after matriculating enrolled at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she completed a degree in journalism and political science in 2014. The following year, she gained a lot of attention for commenting on the 2015 Chattanooga shootings, which would later saw her leave OANN and move to Texas so that she could work with “The Blaze”.

Lahren’s career with “The Blaze” became well known due to her “final thoughts” segments in which she spoke extremely quickly, but the segment has been criticized more as a rant. In 2016, she then endorsed Marco Rubio for president during the Republican Party presidential primaries, and appeared on “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” for an interview. The following year, she made a guest appearance on the talk show entitled “The View”, in which she stated that women should have access to abortion, and accused pro-life people for being hypocrites. However “The Blaze” owner Glenn Beck is pro-life and criticized Lahren’s comments, leading to her being suspended with pay.

Eventually, she filed a wrongful termination suit which was later settled in an agreement that Lahren would keep her Facebook page, but would have to remove videos from “The Blaze”. A few months later, she started working with the Great America Alliance, which is an offshoot of Great America PAC, a well-known pro-Donald Trump organization. She later defended her work there saying that it was a side gig, and she would soon return to television as a commentator. Shortly afterwards, she joined Fox News, and started working there as a contributor.

Political Views and Controversaries
Tomi has stated on air that she is a constitutional conservative, and mentions that she is a commentator but not a journalist. She has been accused on numerous occasions for being a racist, but she has strongly disagreed with those statements. However, she has criticized African Americans on various social issues, including Black Lives Matter, the protests against Donald Trump, and NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who has been known to protest racism. In 2017, she mentioned that she was pro-choice which earned criticism from anti-abortion writers, especially after she mentioned that she was pro-life. She later defended her claims in an interview with “Playboy”, stating that she had always supported abortion rights but was personally against it. She is also anti-feminist.

For her personal life, it is known that Lahren is in a relationship with Jerad Christian – the two have been dating since 2015. Jerad is a military officer and the two met during date night in San Diego. He is from Utah and is a Navy Seal, based at the Naval Amphibious Base Coronado located in San Diego.
Similar to numerous political commentators, Lahren is highly active on social media, particularly on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, on all of which she continues to promote her political beliefs and stances. She also makes commentary on current events, and promotes some of the work she’s doing with Fox. She posts a lot of personal pictures on her Instagram account, including with friends and co-workers. She’s also been seen supporting a lot of military men and policemen. On Facebook, she continues to post her video segments from her shows, and a few personal videos which often see her making commentary while in her car and other locations.
