Candice Loren Crawford was born on 16 December 1986, in Lubbock, Texas USA, and is a broadcast journalist, best known for her work with various television networks such as CBS and 33TV. Her brother is actor Chace Crawford who is best known for his work in the series “Gossip Girl”, and the film “The Covenant”. Her husband is former National Football League (NFL) quarterback Tony Romo, who now works as an American Football television analyst.

She studied for four years and eventually graduated in 2009, during which time she also worked, as a sports anchor and reporter for local station KOMU-TV. She also had a weekly sports radio show entitled “The Closers”, as well as covering two summer training camps with the Dallas Cowboys. She then started working for the television network called 33TV and as a part of the network, she traveled to featured high school games, covering various aspects of the competition. She checks the teams, features the game day festivities including band members, drill teams, cheerleaders, and many more. She also had the segment entitled “Up All Night”, which covers various nightlife spots in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, including alcoholic drinking establishments. She also co-hosted the lifestyle show “The RC Project”, and the weekend sports show “Special Edition” which covers the Dallas Cowboys.

During the same day, KDAF, the television station where Crawford worked announced the engagement. They were engaged for five months before marrying in 2011. They now have three sons.

Brother


Her older brother is actor Chace Crawford who is best known for playing the role of Nate Archibald in the CW TV drama series “Gossip Girl” which ran from 2007 to 2012, which revolves around the lives of upper-class adolescents living in the Upper East Side of Manhattan. It was highly popular, resulting in numerous award nominations, during its six seasons. Prior to getting his role in “Gossip Girl”, he was a part of the film “The Covenant” which is a supernatural fantasy film which found success at the box office despite negative reviews. Other films he’s been a part of include “The Haunting of Molly Hartley”, “Twelve”, and “What to Expect When You’re Expecting”. He was also in the short-lived series entitled “Blood & Oil”.


As a child, Chace was diagnosed with attention deficit disorder (ADD), and to correct it he would later try his hand at modelling work. He also initially pursued a career in broadcast journalism, but dropped out of college after a few semesters to focus on his acting work. Prior to finding his big break, he worked as a car valet to make ends meet.
